Committees

Communications—vacant, committee chair

Creates content for quarterly newsletter and for the website.  Attends FRDA events, takes pictures and writes short descriptive articles for the newsletter and website

Development—Agnes Fong, committee chair

Works with developers and the City to ensure that new developments follow our guidelines for the neighborhood, and that these developments contain amenities for the enjoyment of our residents.

Events—Carol Gilmore, committee chair

Sets up and coordinates neighborhood events such social events at neighborhood restaurants and bars, and block parties

Membership—vacant, committee chair

Recruits new household, homeowner's association and business members to join the FRDA.

Special Projects—Mary Lloyd Cook, committee chair

Any special needs pertaining to our neighborhood such as requests for new garbage cans, graffiti erased, handicap signs, sidewalks needing attention, requests for trees or plants in front of your business.  Additionally City of Chicago Clean and Green Day, Town Hall Meetings and our Annual Meeting.
