Communications—vacant, committee chair

Creates content for quarterly newsletter and for the website.  Attends FRDA events, takes pictures and writes short descriptive articles for the newsletter and website

Development—Agnes Fong, committee chair

The Development Committee works with developers, the Alderman office(s) and the City of Chicago to ensure new developments follow our guidelines for the neighborhood and addresses the neighborhood concerns. Recent developments that were reviewed by the Committee include the River Point and 108 N. Jefferson projects.

Events—Carol Gilmore, committee chair

Sets up and coordinates neighborhood events such social events at neighborhood restaurants and bars, and block parties

Membership—vacant, committee chair

Recruits new household, homeowner's association and business members to join the FRDA.

Special Projects— committee chair

Any special needs pertaining to our neighborhood such as requests for new garbage cans, graffiti erased, handicap signs, sidewalks needing attention, requests for trees or plants in front of your business.  Additionally City of Chicago Clean and Green Day, Town Hall Meetings and our Annual Meeting.

Parks & Green Space—Maria Mikel, committee chair

The Parks and Green Space Committee works to ensure that our parks and streetscape greenery are in top condition.  The Committee also interfaces with the Chicago Park District on behalf of Fulton River Park.
