Alderman Burnett, Business & Community Groups, & Residents Secures $11 Million in TIF money!
Reconstructing of over a mile stretch of Kinzie Street from Ogden avenue to Des Plaines begins. The $11 Million will be used to widen Kinzie street (currently only 20 feet wide whereas the average Chicago street is 40 feet), addition of diagonal parking spaces and replace Kinzie water main which dates back to 1886 in the Kinzie Industrial Corridor TIF.
