Streetscape 1 Year, 5 Months ago
In addition to the water main project that was on Clinton St. between Fulton and Kinzie Sts, there is a small project going on this month at the UP bridge by Left Bank. They are doing concrete repairs to the wall on the north side of the bridge underpass. We'll see if they fix that sunken in portion of the sidewalk that's probably been there for decades.

Trib article covering stimulus projects, some of which are in our area. It mentions improvements to Hubbard's Cave, for example.

Economic Recovery Act stimulus funds coming to our neighborhood. Grand Avenue, from Halsted to Des Plaines St, is going to be resurfaced.

Work across the city will begin this summer.

The Grand Ave. resurfacing project has begun, and the top layer of the asphalt has been removed. This is the area by La Scarola Restaurant.

I'm sure all of you have noticed the sidewalk maintenance in our neighborhood -- they are installing new curb cuts (is that the right term?) with flatter angles so they are ADA compliant. The Grand Ave project is American Recovery Act money; not sure if this is or not.
